AMFAMESH Monofilament Polypropylene Mesh is bio-compatible, non-absorbable, sterile and porous surgical material. Knitted to provide single directional elasticity while allowing the mesh to be cut for any shape without twisting structure.  It  has soft design with elastic and permeable pores for use in Hernia repair as well as other soft tissue reinforcement. AMFASTRIL prevents the deformation of the nasal foramen after the surgery for cleft lip or palate, rhinoplasty or augmentation rhinoplasty without imposing a burden on the patient.

The nasal retainer -also known as nostril retainer or nasal stent- can be used sperarately or as part of the NAM-treatment (Nasoalveolar Molding) for infants born with cleft lip sundrome.

AMFASPLINT Internal Nasal Splint is indicated for nasal surgeries in general (Septoplasties, sinusectomies, rhinoplasties, tubinectomies, epistaxis surgeries and pituitary surgeries), and has to be positioned near the nasal septum. 

AMFASPLINT Internal Nasal Splint  is made of silicone of medical grade, its flexibility and structural stability provide greater comfort, ensuring a less traumatic postoperative period and adequate healing of the septum, avoiding complications such as septal hematoma.

AMFASPLINT Thermoplastic External Nasal Splint is used to describe a substance that changes its consistency and stability under temperature influence.

• Thermoplastic is used to describe a substance that changes its consistency and stability under temperature influence. When heated in a water bath, the material changes its colour from white to transparent and becomes malleable under the influence of warmth. The process is reversed by cooling i.e. the product sets in the modelled shape. Using such material for an external nasal splint allows individual fitting according to the patients anatomy.
